In my wardrobe I would rather have a few quality staple pieces I love than a bunch of cheap items that will need constant replacing. I am here to share with you my top summer closet staples that are worth the investment. I am also letting you in on my tips on how I got most of these on sale!
Tory Burch Miller Sandals
Retail Price: $198
What I paid: $150
I have two pairs of the Millers – the black leather and tan patent leather. They go with everything, hold up, and are cute and comfortable. I can wear them all day and not have achy feet! If you keep up with my stories you know all about my shoe struggles with narrow feet and when I find a good pair of shoes that work, I buy them. I purchase these when Neiman and Marcus has their annual sale. Most of what is on the website will qualify – you save $50 when you spend $200, etc. Occasionally Nordstrom and Tory Burch will discount Millers online but only certain colors – the only place I have seen the neutral ones discounted is at Neiman and Marcus. Tory Burch also gives you a $50 gift card during your birthday month, but it is only redeemable in-store. They also offer 10% off to new members (it’s free to join).
Madewell White Jeans
Retail Price: $135
What I paid: $105
I have so much trouble finding jeans that fit me because I’m small. These Madewell jeans fit perfectly and are so flattering. I love the rough hem line and length. I can wear so much with them! I got them on sale when Madewell was doing $30 off jeans.
Hunter Rain Boots
Retail Price: $150
What I paid: $89
I love these because they go with everything, they are cute, comfortable, and don’t let any rain in. I purchased these boots at Nordstrom during one of their Anniversary Sales. The Hunter Boots website offers 15% off your first purchase. I also found this color in matte for $105!
Jack Roger Sandals
Retail price: $118
What I paid: $89
I purchased these sandals my freshman year of college and have worn them countless times since! They are so gorgeous and are the nicest looking flip flops I have seen – they always make my outfit look 10x nicer. I got them during one of Jack Roger’s site wide sales but you can get 10% now when you sign up for their emails.
The North Face Rain Jacket
Retail Price: $98
What I paid: $98
Okay this one I did pay full price for. My previous Columbia jacket had fallen apart so I decided to go for The North Face brand and it has not disappointed!
