Why I love sephora
I know Sephora sells pricier beauty products but they are so worth it in my opinion. I have had certain products that have lasted me years, and other products I am consistently re purchasing. Pretty much all of my beauty products are from Sephora. Here are a few of my favorites!
hair
- Moroccan Oil Dry shampoo light tones – My all time favorite dry shampoo. The one for blondes has a purple tint to it to cancel any yellow tones. They also have one for brunettes and an original version.
- Olaplaex No 3 Hair repair perfecter – this helps to strengthen hair and prevent spilt ends. Such a great product for healthy hair and my hair is always softer after using it.
- Olaplex No 4 Bond maintenance shampoo – I have really oily/greasy hair and this keeps my clean for days. I always wash my hair twice since my stylist recommended which has also made a difference in keeping my hair clean for longer.
- Olaplex No 4P blonde enhancer shampoo – this is Olaplex’s new purple shampoo. It takes all the yellow/orange out of my blonde but does not dry out my hair like other purple shampoos have.
- Olaplex No 9 bond smoother repair styling cream – this is my new favorite product. I use it in wet hair after I wash my hair and it works great as a detangled and leave in conditioner. Makes hair super soft and super easy to brush through! I also have noticed it helps a ton with frizz control.
- Olaplex No. 8 bond intense moisture mask – Works great as a deep conditioning hair mask and makes hair super soft.
- T3 Interchangeable curling wand – as much as I love the Dyson Air Wrap curls, I know I can always rely on my T3 to give me curls that will hold for days. I would recommend purchasing the interchangeable base so you can easily switch out different sized barrels!
- Living Proof Flex hairspray – I hate hairspray, but found this holds my curls the best without making hair crunchy. I just bought the mini bottle since I don’t use it that much!
- Moroccan Oil Luminous Strong Hold Hairspray – even thought this is a strong hold hairspray it does not make my hair hard and also makes it looks shiny!
- Sephora Collection Dual Boar Bristle Brush Mini – I keep a few of these brushes in places like my car, work locker, and purses. They are great for travel!
- Slip Silk Scrunchies – these silk hair ties help prevent damage and keep hair soft! They just came out with a brand new color combo with pink that I have on my wishlist!
- Estee Lauder double wear foundation – I have been using this foundation for years. It is a full coverage matte foundation and makes my skin look so smooth. I mix shades 2C3 and 1C1.
- NARS creamy concealer – I use the shade adffogato and apply it to my under eye area and any blemishes I may have.
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer – the exact bronzer I use is sold out but I linked a similar version (the glow version which I think may have some shimmer to it)
- Nars blush – I wear the shade orgasm. It’s so pretty! I actually only have the mini version but it has lasted me at least a year.
- Anastasia brow powder duo – I apply the lighter shade on the inner part of my eyebrows and the darker shades on the outer parts
- Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray – the best setting spray to give you a pretty glow, keep you make up on all day, and prevent any transfer to face masks. The large bottle always sells out!
- Stila stay all day waterproof liquid Eyeliner – I have tried so many eyeliners and always go back to this one!
- Kaja Bento Bouncy Eyeshadow Trio – I LOVE the concept of these mini eyeshadow trios. They are amazing for travel because they are super compact and all 3 shades are really all you need to complete a look.
- Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow – This is the prettiest sparkly eyeshadow and goes on so smoothly. I use a fluffy eyeshadow blush to blend it and it stays all day and doesn’t smudge!
- Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara – this is the best mascara for separating lashes
- KUSH High Volumizing mascara from Milk Make up – gives the most volume
- Urban Decay mascara primer – I have also tried the Dior primer but love the UD one more. It keeps your mascara on longer and adds volume to lashes
- Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Gloss – I love these glosses to add more volume to lips. I am hesitant to get any botox of filler so this is great at home alternative!
- Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk Lipstick – I love this color, it stays on and I am considering wearing it for my wedding.
- Sephora Collection Deluxe Brush Set – if you are in search of new make up brushes, a lot of the ones I use are from Sephora Collection. I have the deluxe Brush set which pretty much has everything you could need!
skincare and body
- Tula cult classic purifying face cleanser – a great everyday cleanser
- Tula 24-7 day and night cream – great for layering underneath make up, is gentle and not too heavy
- Tula glow and get it SPF – gives your skin a subtle golden glow, does not feel like sunscreen or have that typical sunscreen smell
- Tula smoothing and brightening primer – the best primer for make up – it makes foundation go on so smoothly and stay on all day. Works a lot better if you apply moisturizer right before
- Murad acne spot treatment – this always works fast to get rid of and acne spots
- Sol De Janeiro Coco Cabana body moisturizing body cream cleanser – This smells AMAZING, like a tropical vacation, and works as both a moisturizer and body wash. I hate putting on lotion so that allows me to skip that step!
