office/guest bedroom reveal tour
Since our house is finally painted, I am so excited to be able to start sharing each room! Of course I had to start out with my office which we will also be using as a guest room when our family comes to stay. To be honest I was not sure how or even if all of the furniture would fit in this one bedroom but luckily everything fit and flows well. Luckily I didn’t have to buy anything new for this room except the rug – we had everything in our previous apartments. Click any of the photos to shop!

This is our queen size bed from our previous apartments. We wanted to keep it for when our family sleeps over.
Desk area
My desk is one of my favorite purchases of 2021 and honestly is one of my favorite purchases of all time. I love how big it is and I am able to get so much work done at my desk. Even if you are not a blogger or if you don’t work from home, I would still recommend a large desk because it is so helpful on a daily basis. I was so thankful to have had it while I was planning my wedding – it was nice to be able to organize papers in the drawers and just have them handy, and also utilize the desk surface area.
closet
Because of the layout of our closet in our bedroom, I decided it would be better for Ryan to keep his clothes in that one and for me to keep mine in the closet in the office. It works out really well for my blog since I keep everything that gets hung up here, which tends to be my nicer clothes. I keep all of my shoes except my slippers and sneakers in this closet as well.
The two best items I could recommend for closet organization are these velvet hangers and shoe racks, both from Amazon. The hangers save so much space since they are thin, and since they are velvet, I have never had to worry about clothing slipping off them. I can’t recommend them enough! I love how the shoe racks keep everything organized and are customizable so you can remove parts of the shelves to store taller boots.
jewelry table
Having my jewelry out on display helps me find pieces much more easily and I tend to wear more of my jewelry when it’s easily accessible. I love all of my jewelry holders because they are both pretty and functional as home decor items. My mirror is old, it’s Kendra Scott and I found it at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago, but I linked similar ones below.
