Today I am sharing a new self tanning product I have been testing out the past few weeks. Jet Set Sun is the first Self Tanning Mist I have tried and I am impressed! I am also sharing the pros and cons, as well as some tips for use!
Before & After
Jet Set Sun Tanning Mist
How to Use
First, I get set up in my shower. I spray the bottle about 8in from my body, and then let it dry. I keep my bathrobe on for about 10 mins so I don’t stain my clothes. It will stain towels, so keep that in mind.
Pros
- Instant tan so you can see where you sprayed
- Works fast
- Only takes a few minutes to apply
- Affordable
- WORKS and really gets you tan
- Looks natural
Cons
- Only lasts several days
- Stains towels etc when wet
- Messy (goes along with the last one)
- Does not smell great (not a bad smell, just not really good)
- Difficult to remove once on skin
What I Would Recommend
As I mentioned before, you can kind of tell my tan is not 100% even! since these photos were taken after my first time using this product I have come up a few pointers I would follow next time I apply the tanning mist. I did not tan my hands, which is obvious – so I would recommend doing that so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing gloves haha but wash your palms immediately.
I added wayyy too much self tanner to my legs – I think I somehow ended up doing three layers which I would NOT recommend haha. You do not need a lot for it to work! You will notice a difference immediately but the true tan does take a couple hours to set in.
I highly recommend if you are looking for something that will make you look tan FAST, for a short period of time, especially on a budget. Biggest drawback is the mess, and it will stain the bottoms of your feet so be sure to wash them right away!
