My Top Tips on how to find The Beaufort Bonnet Company baby clothing on sale
I still can’t believe in just 3 months we’ll be welcoming a little BOY into our family! And he already has an entire wardrobe, of course! Shopping for baby boys may not seem quite as easy or fun as shopping for baby girls but I am here to tell you there ARE cute baby boy clothes out there!
One of my favorite places to shop for clothes for Tatum is The Beaufort Bonnet Company. I try to stick to items made from natural fibers like cotton when shopping for clothing now, especially baby clothes. Most of TBBC’s items are 100% pima cotton, which is softer and more durable than regular cotton. The resale value is amazing, and quality is unmatched and they truly have some of the cutest baby clothes so I knew when it came to Baby Boy’s wardrobe, I wanted to start there!
Of course the biggest downside to The Beaufort Bonnet Company is the high cost. However, after years of experience shopping resale and now owning my own resale business, I have discovered lots of money saving tips along with way and can’t wait to share them with you!
1. Facebook groups
Facebook is my most profitable platform for reselling baby clothes. I have also found many amazing deals from a few of my favorite groups (you can message me on Instagram for invites). Anyone can buy and sell in these groups through paypal! There are also specific groups for specific brands and price ranges. I’m in several local moms groups as well. You can find items with conditions ranging from well loved to brand new, most at a huge discount of course!
2. Instagram Resale and Consignment Accounts
I started my own Instagram account specifically for reselling high end baby clothes and list many TBBC items. You can check it out here! I have also placed several orders from other sellers’ pages and have found so many deals that way.
3. The Beaufort Bonnet Company website sales online
There are two types of sales I shop online – the first being their sale page, which is always well stocked. Secondly, they host site wide minimum spend sales as well – there is one that actually just started today! These also typically include items listed on their sale page so you can take even bigger discounts off items. This is how I acquired all of Baby Boy’s swaddle blankets new but on sale.

4. The Beaufort Bonnet Company In Store Sales
My local-ish store, TBBC in Fairfax, VA, always has an amazing, well stocked sale rack with items that tend to be sold out online. They also offer additional sales in store sometimes, so you can find items even cheaper than online and obviously you don’t have to pay any shipping fees.
5. TBBC Rewards System
It is totally free to sign up for the TBBC rewards system! They can send you emails and texts to notify you of upcoming sales, so you can be the first to shop. They also have a point system so you earn store credit whenever you shop.
6. Resale apps including Poshmark and Mercari
Poshmark and Mercari are my go-to apps for shopping resale! It’s also super easy to sell on these platforms and you can use your balance to shop.
7. Local kids' consignment shops
These are where I find lots of baby clothes to resell. For anyone local to the Baltimore area, we frequent Tried but True, Once Upon a Child, and Kid to Kid. I recently discovered Lemon Lane and Blossom and Buds in the Arlington/Falls Church, VA area that both carry mainly high end brands including TBBC.
8. Look for seasonal items post seasons
I typically try to limit seasonal purchases ahead of time since I don’t know what size my baby will be, but this is a good tip if you think there may be some wiggle room! I bought a bunch of size 6-12m bubbles for Baby Boy to wear next year – I’m praying they will fit during either Spring or Summer or ideally both!
9. Stock up on bigger sizes
Sale items tend to be more limited on sizes, but it may be worth it to buy bigger sizes ahead of time while they’re on sale.
