Some men can be so difficult to shop for – Ryan is super practical and hardly buys things for himself. Even if it’s something he needs! Every man is different, but I tried to include a bunch of practical items most men could use.
Nearly all of these are gifts I have given Ryan in the past, am planning on giving/wanting to give him, or things he already has and uses!
Gifts under $50
- Patagonia Long Sleeve – I bought Ryan the short sleeve version of this over the summer and he wears it all the time. He likes the white because it matches everything!
- Ugg fuzzy socks – Ryan’s first pair of fuzzy socks! He LOVES them thought he doesn’t think they’re “manly,” but good for around the house.
- Back Massager – I have seen so many people share this that love it, Ryan has back and shoulder pain, and I think this would help. I want to try it too.
- Fossil Wallet – a high quality brand and on sale for under $35!
- Under Armour Compression Top – so helpful if the man you are shopping for is outside in the cold! High quality + affordable.
- Face Mask – for warmth and fitting anyway since we have to wear masks lol.
- Kiehl’s Cleanser Set – Ryan uses this brand for shaving.
- Swell bottle – I have one and use it all the time!
gifts under $100
- Joggers – I got these for Ryan over the summer and he loves them! They’re so soft, I want a pair!
- Sperry Boots – Gave these to Ryan last Christmas and get wears them all the time in the winter. He didn’t have any snow or rain boots before, and really needed these. He likes how they look, they are warm, and offer water protection.
- Ugg blanket – Ryan loves his, I use it all the time too. So warm since it has two layers and and super soft!
- DeWalt Drill – Ryan is always complaining about his current drill (different brand) and wants a good DeWalt one.
- Under Armour Leggings – if your male friend/partner/relative is out in the cold – Ryan is outside coaching every night – these would help so much!
- Jack Black Moisturizer – I’ve heard really good things about this one!
gifts over $100
- Patagonia Quarter Zip – I got this for Ryan last year and he loves it.
- Ugg slippers – Another recent gift I got for Ryan – he had his last pair for years and they were falling apart!
- Timberland Boots – Ryan’s pair has holes, so he could use some new ones! He has had them for YEARS though which is why. They are a splurge for sure but worth it.
- Barefoot Dreams Blanket – the softest blanket! Large but not as thick as the Ugg one and still looks brand new after years of use.
- The North Face Rain Jacket – Ryan has this exact one and likes it!
- Bose Speaker – I know Ryan wants a wireless speaker, and honestly I do too haha!
If you're still stuck...
- What is his job? For example, Ryan is a teacher and coach – he always could use more button downs for school, or warm clothing for those cold, late nights outside.
- What hobbies does he have? If he likes cooking, maybe kitchen appliances, games for xbox, etc
- What is he out of? Did he just finish up that last bottle of moisturizer, etc.
- What is broken/doesn’t work/falling apart? Ryan is notorious for wearing shoes until they fall apart completely, happened to at least 4 pairs hahaha I think I supplied half of his shoe collection
- what brands or stores does he like? If you know this but don’t have any specific gift ideas, almost all sites have a “Gifts” section during the holidays with a bunch of ideas.
