How to Host Galentine’s Day!

I have been so excited for Valentine’s Day this year! I love hosting parties and the holidays inspire me to decorate! Whether you are single or not, let the holiday be an excuse to invite some friends over! According to Google, the official unofficial date for Galentine’s Day is February 13th, which is the day before Valentine’s Day. This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday, so the weekend after is the perfect time to celebrate you and your best friends! The great thing about Valentine’s decor is that it can be very versatile! I keep these pillows out year round and they just happen to go with the Valentine’s Day theme! I did buy the heart pillow specifically for the holiday but am debating keeping it out just because it’s so soft!

Champagne toast and roses are the perfect scents for Galentine’s Day! I am obsessed with these couple from Bath and Body Works!!

Cookie Bar – adding this the schedule allows for less preparation and gives you something fun to do together!

Heart Waffles – I found the cutest little heart shaped waffle maker! It’s under $20 and would serve as another great snack. You could even decorate these with some strawberries and whipped cream!

Hot Chocolate Bar – Swiss Miss is my favorite, especially with the marshmallows! I found this pink mug last year at Anthropologie for under $2.50.

Wine Bar – Champagne and Rose are great options! This one is from Boordy Vineyards but I also love Barefoot Pink Moscato!

Gifting

Gift exchanges – this Galentine’s Day I am doing a small one! If you choose secret Santa, Elster keeps the secret so no one has to worry about choosing for everyone.
