Months ago, when Tatum was still a newborn, I had been gifted a very basic baby monitor. I never considered purchasing anything fancier, because I didn’t see the need and was so overwhelmed by all of the options.
For awhile we didn’t have any issues, but about a month or two ago I noticed a few times the monitor screen would get fuzzy or go blank, and it even shut off without warning during the night once (if it beeped it wasn’t loud enough to wake me up!). My Impression
So far I am really impressed with the quality of the Ellie Baby Pro Monitor. I appreciate the automatic lullaby option because it helps soothe Tatum back to sleep during the night. I think the quality is really high for the price. The camera is super clear, unlike other monitors we have tried in the past. This makes it easy to see Tatum breathing, which gives me reassurance as a new mom. I also like that I can check in on her during the night when I am at work.
