Organizing my beauty products was one of the first things I did when we moved all of our stuff into the apartment haha! Here are a few rules I follow to keep everything organized.
1. Downsize!
Literally take everything out, and see what you can give away or throw away! You might have expired products or things you tried once and will never use again.
2. Invest in organizers
3. Divide Items by Category
This is where the organizers come in! I separate all my products by category and go from there. I keep all of my skincare products (aside from a few in the shower) in a big acrylic bin. I use the acrylic drawers to separate lip products, eye make up, razors and more.
**BONUS TIP: have a separate section for extras. This way you can have a separate bin for extra items that you can look through before you repurchase things!
4. Keep Everyday Items The Most Accessible
You want to be able to easily access the products you use all the time!
For items that are functional but aren’t supper pretty, like your toothbrush, deodorant etc. What I do is keep those close but hidden. I keep those in our top drawer since they are items we use all the time but don’t necessarily want them out on the counter!
For “prettier” everyday items like perfume or lipgloss, I keep out on the counter. I found this pretty Kendra Scott tray from Nordstrom Rack. It is sold out but I will link similar ones below. I also found a super pretty beauty organizer from Anthropologie that I keep on the tray. It holds all of my make up brushes that I can’t really store in a drawer! I also has a tiny bowel that is perfect to keep my ring on when I get in the shower!
