I tried A LOT of new beauty products in 2020, but these are my top favorites!
Aside from Tula this dry shampoo has to be my favorite beauty product of the year. My hairdresser recommended Moroccan Oil Light Tones, and I am so grateful! This dry shampoo really is amazing – I like the blonde one, because it has a purple tint to it so it makes my hair look even more blonde and literally just covers any and all yellow tones. It smells really good too! The only downside is the price, and it hardly goes on sale, but it is so worth it for me. No drugstore brand compares.
The Billie razor is SUCH a step up from whatever drug store razor I was purchasing before. I have never knicked myself with Billie, like I have with every other razor. The blades last longer and I have noticed a difference in my skin – it is not dry or bumpy like it used to be. I like that it’s a subscription and you can add/remove items and change the delivery dates anytime. It is really convenient for me and cheaper than my previous razors as well, and I really have no complaints.
I may even like the shaving cream more than the razor – again my skin has been so much softer and hydrated since I started using Billie!
I didn’t start getting dry lips until this past year, specifically the past few months. Laneige products have been a savior for me and they work very fast. I have the Glowy Lip Wonders, which is a two pack of the lip balms. I like them because I can take them on the go and use throughout the day.
For nighttime I apply the Lip Sleeping Mask. It comes with a tiny spoon so you don’t have to get your hands dirty, but I still end up using my fingers to apply it. It might seem pricey but the bottle lasts a really long time. I’ve had mine for maybe 6 months and still feel like I’ve barely made a dent!
I like this mascara from Miss K because it is unlike anything I have tried before. I layer it on top of my regular mascara to add extra volume and length. My favorite part about it is that it is SO easy to get off – you literally just need water and it doesn’t leave any residue like every other mascara I have tried.
Olaplex was another brand my stylist recommend for me. I have tried the shampoo, conditioner, hair perfecter and bond smoother. My hair is so much softer! It sounds expensive for the amount, but a little goes along way.
