I’ve had my first pair of Tory Burch Miller Sandals for 4 years and I can still say they are my all time favorite shoes! I get questions asking if they are worth the investment, and my answer is always YES! Keep reading for my complete review, as well as ways to save $ on Miller sandals! Tory Burch is actually hosting a huge Spring sale right now so now is the perfect time snag a pair on sale – more details later in the post!
***This post is NOT sponsored in any way, and I have spent my own money on all of the Tory Burch shoes I own. However, I do make a small commission when you purchase anything right after clicking on my affiliate links. I always appreciate your continued support that allows me to run this small business!
Patent Leather vs Leather
There are mainly two types of Miller sandals: the patent leather and the leather. I have owned pairs of each kind and find that I favor the patent leather. They have held up much better than the regular leather, especially in rain. I also have somewhat of a narrow/thin foot, and the patent ones actually fit my feet better/stay in place better. I just think all around they are a better investment but I would still recommend the leather ones too.
HOw much do miller sandals cost?
The retail price for most Tory Burch Miller Sandals is $198. Keep reading to find out how to save $50+ on each pair!
Are they worth the investment?
Most people would say $200 is a lot of money for a pair of sandals. I don’t disagree. BUT they are SO worth it and you definitely get your money’s worth. Trust me, I would not be spending $200 on a pair of bad flip flops!!
- They LAST. I can honestly say no other brand of shoes has lasted me 4 years. I have worn my first pair SO many times in the past 4 years and they are still in great condition. If I were to divide up the amount of times I have worn them into the price it would be well under $1 per wear and I am still banking on them lasting another 3-4+ years before I’ll have to replace them. ** for example: I also love the look of my Jack Rogers sandals (they are around $130) but had to replace mine after 4 years because they were so worn down**
- They have amazing resale value: I was able to resell two used pairs of Miller sandals (one pair I had worn for 2 years) for $100 each which is half the retail value. I probably could have charged even more but I was looking to get rid of them ASAP – they were both the regular leather and I wanted to buy the pink patent instead. So if you buy them, wear them, and decide you don’t want to keep them you could still get a lot of your money back from selling on poshmark, etc. **to compare to my Jack Rogers, I only was able to sell them for $15 on poshmark)**
- They look nice: They are flip flops but look like a fancy sandal. I don’t like wearing strappy, complicated sandals that take 5 minutes to put on. I like that these are flip flips so I can easily slide them on/off but they look really nice. I reach for them more than any other pair of shoes in my closet.
- They’re comfortable: In fact, they are the most comfortable shoes I own.
- They fit perfectly: as someone with a narrow foot it is hard to find sandals that don’t fall off my feet and I’m also SUPER picky when it comes to buying sandals. This pair passes all the tests!
I wear my normal sandal size 8.5 in the patent Millers and size down half a size to the 8 in the regular leather. I find the patent ones to run a bit slimmer and the leather to fit wider.
I’m super picky when it comes to sandals and there are a lot I cannot wear because the straps are usually too wide for my feet. I love how the Millers fit me and they actually stay on my feet.
I have heard from some you that the sandals run on the slimmer side, and that if you have a wide foot you had to size up. I noticed they do come in extended widths but only in a few colors. You can find them on the Tory Burch website here.

Where to Buy Tory Burch Miller Sandals
The spring sale event
Tory Burch is actually hosting a huge Spring sale right now – items are discounted (including a few Millers!) and you can take 25% off your purchase of $200+ or 30% off $500+
other options
Here are a few other ways to save some major money on Tory Burch Miller Sandals:
- Tory Burch Sales: listed this first since I started to mention the current one going on! Tory Burch does huge sales a couple times per year and there are typically some pairs of Millers included (however every single color is not always included). I would recommend signing up for their emails so you can be the first to know about the sales OR keep up with my Instagram/blog – I’ll be sure to let you all know when there’s a sale (like NOW!)
- Tory Burch Birthday discount: Tory Burch offers a birthday discount of $50 off any purchase during your birthday month. I am signed up for the emails and have an account with Tory but never actually receive an email with the gift card, so I just go to my closest store and they have always honored it.
- Poshmark/Mercari: I use both of these sites to buy and sell clothing all the time. I always see a ton of Millers for sale at discounted rates, and you can also find discontinued colors/prints here. However if you have a very low budget you may not find a pair in super great condition just since the resell value is so high. But, this can be really good if you change your mind after a few years because you could still get a chunk of money back if you choose to sell them.
- Other retailers: Department stores like Nordstrom have reward systems that give you points every time you shop. Nordstrom price matches, so whenever retailers like Tory Burch host site-wide sales, Nordstrom will honor the prices. This could be helpful to look at if the Tory Burch site sells out of a particular size/color. I’ve also found super great deals in store at Nordstrom Rack.
- Outlets: I love my closest Tory Burch Outlet store (if you’re local it’s Clarksburg) and they have a TON of Tory. However I’ve only been 3 times and don’t remember seeing a lot of Millers if any, but it could be worth checking out and you can always call ahead to see what they have in stock.
