I am so excited to share another monthly beauty round up! I have included all the beauty products I tried for the first time during August and my ratings and reviews on them.
5 Star
- Brush X One Step Volumizer and Blow Dryer ($34) This is a knock-off to the Revlon One Step Blow Dryer. I think they both work the same, just the Brush X (on amazon) is cheaper.
- Olaplex Hair Perfector N. 3 ($28) I bought this during the Nordstrom Sale and absolutely love it! Basically it is a hair mask that you apply to wet hair before you wash it.
- Makari Exfoliating Scrub Cream ($30) I love this scrub so much – it removes dead skin while softening.
- Hum hair gummies ($25) I have been taking these for about 2 weeks and have have already noticed a difference. Plus they taste really good!
- Hollie Woodward x Sigma make up brushes ($50) This was another NSale purchase – so glad I got them! I had been looking for a new foundation brush and this one is flawless, plus I don’t need to use as much product.
- Hello Body Coco Glam Pink Body Scrub ($30) This scrub works, smells amazing (like sugar and cream cheese) and is pink!
4 Stars
- Olaplex Shampoo ($28) made my hair super soft, but does not keep it clean as long as my purple shampoo does.
- Olaplex conditioner ($28) like the shampoo, this conditioner made my hair super soft! I do still prefer the It’s a 10 miracle deep conditioner and think that it does a better job getting out tangles.
- Hello Body Foam Face Wash ($30) This cleanser is super gentle, and is great for sensitive skin. However I did not feel like it gets off as much dirt as the Tula one I normally use.
- Hello Body Coco Wow French Pink Clay Face Mask ($35) This reminds me of the rose face mask from Lush – I have only used it once so far, so I will be giving more updates as time goes on! It did make a patch of skin on my forehead red afterwards for a few minutes but the redness did subside. My skin felt smoother and softer after!
3 Stars
- OGX Radiant Glow Argan Oil Body Wash ($6) I picked this up from Target when I was running low on my philosophy one. It is definitely not as high quality, isn’t as moisturizing and doesn’t smell as good but is very affordable.
