Everyday Skincare Routine + Tula Review + DISCOUNT

I am so excited to finally share my every skincare routine with you all! I also figured that since most of the products I use are Tula, I wanted to share an in-depth review on all the items I have tried. I tried Tula out for the first time on my own two months ago. I wanted to test out everything myself to find out if Tula is really worth the hype – and I can honestly say IT. IS!

Last week I received the best email and I am super happy to announce I am officially a Tula Partner!

MORNING STEPS

Step 1: Cleanse

The first step in my routine once I wake up is cleansing my face.

Tula Cleanser

Pros: I love the Tula cleanser – The Cult Classic which is their regular cleanser. The bottle is huge. I purchased it about 2 months ago and haven’t made much of a dent at all! It is clear and really cleanses my skin and makes my skin feel smoother after. All positives with the cleanser!

Foreo Luna Mini 2 Facial Cleansing Device

Pros: After lots of research, I pulled the trigger and bought this cleansing device about 1.5-2 years ago. It’s an electronic facial cleanser that vibrates when you use it to help clear your pores! I really notice a difference in my skin when I use it – it makes my skin so smooth and clear! The device has two sides with different textures. It is also rechargeable but I haven’t had to charge it yet and I’ve had it for awhile. I keep mine in the shower so it can be immersed in water and even has a warranty.

Cons: It is an investment ($120 retail but goes on sale often) but totally worth it in my opinion!!

Step 2: Tone

Tula Resurfacing Toner

Pros: The second step in my skincare routine is using my toner. I like this one from Tula – it helps to even out my skin tone. I squeeze two drops onto a cotton pad and rub it all over my face. I have tried several other toners and think this one has worked the best! I feel like some of the other brands I have tried were just watery and didn’t do anything, but this one is more of a gel but still lightweight and actually makes a difference.

Step 3: Vitamin C Serum

Teami Blends Vitamin C Tea Infused Serum

Pros: I didn’t start using a serum until I started working with Teami-Blends and now I am obsessed with their vitamin C tea infused serum! It has hyaluronic acid which is super hydrating. I apply one squirt to my skin and rub it in. My favorite thing about this product is that it absorbs into my skin almost instantly and is lightweight but still keeps my skin from getting dry. I use this every day, but it is perfect to use under make up in place of a moisturizer because you don’t have to worry about it being too thick like regular moisturizer.

BEFORE MAKE UP STEPS

Step 4: Prime

***When I am not wearing any make up (as in nothing on my skin), like when I am working that night, I skip this next step.

Face Filter Primer

Pros: I love this primer when I am planning on lounging around the house, going to the grocery store, or doing other small errands that I don’t want to wear much make up doing. You can wear this under make up but I really only wear it by itself because it gives you a light foundation look, slight tan, and even skin tone. Literally, a real life filter for your face! The texture is a bit dewey (depends on if you like that look!)

Cons: The bottle is not that big, so if you use it every day I don’t know how long it would last. Also, it DOES NOT stay on longer than 6-8 hours, if that.

Brighten Up Smoothing Primer Gel

Pros: I absolutely LOVE this primer! I use it on the days I wear my full coverage foundation. It makes my make up go on sooo smoothly – my make up looks SO MUCH BETTER when I use this before!! It also KEEPS MY MAKE UP ON ALL DAY AND NIGHT like a primer should. It does not have a tint to it like the face filter primer, and the bottle is much bigger so it should last a lot longer.

Step 5: SPF

Tula SPF 30

I have been using Tula’s new SPF 30 for the past two weeks and love the protection and glow it gives. This is what I gave my mom for Mother’s Day!

Step 6: Eye Balm

Tula Rose Glow & Get It Eye Balm

Pros: This was the one product I was really hesitant about trying, but also the most curious to try because I had heard so many conflicting reviews. Some people swear by it, some people say it doesn’t do anything. I was one of the latter… but now I have tried it and actually REALLY LIKE IT! It definitely makes a difference. It is like a cooling highlighter for your under eyes and gives you a glow that no other product does. I like wearing it on top of all my make up, and even wear it when I am not wearing make up because it just makes me feel more awake! This is probably the longest lasting product out of the ones I have tried from Tula. Mine still looks untouched!

BEFORE BED STEPS

These are the steps I take when I am getting ready for bed!

Step 1: Remove Make Up

*Obviously if I am not wearing make up that day I skip this step.

Tula Make Up Melt Balm

Pros: This WORKS. It literally removes ALL my make up, including my eye make up. Unlike other make up removers, this actually removes literally everything. It is the ONLY make up remover I have tried (and I have tried A LOT) that does not leave mascara under my eyes the next day. It is very small and compact which is great for traveling and works as a micellar water, eye make up remover, and cotton pads – you don’t need any of those with this item!

Cons: expensive… does not last long. I am currently trying to use up t last bit of miceller water that I have, but once I start using this everyday I know I will go through it constantly!

Step 2: Cleanse (see morning steps, step 1)

Step 3: Tone (see morning steps, step 2)

Step 4: Vitamin C Serum (see morning steps, step 3)

Step 5: Moisturize

24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

Pros: I am obsessed with this moisturizer from Tula. It hydrates my skin without breaking it out!

Cons: It is thicker, takes a few minutes to absorb into skin, and I would not recommend wearing under make up.

Step 6: Eye Cream

Tula Revive & Rewind Eye Cream

To be honest, this may be the only Tula product I am on the fence about. This is the first eye cream I have tried and I’m not sure if it has made a difference (maybe it takes a long time to work?) I don’t have wrinkles when my face is relaxed, but I definitely get crow’s eyes and under eye circles when I smile and I don’t think this has made a difference. Either way, I figure it can’t hurt to use an eye cream. I look at it as more of a preventative measure for later on.

OTHER OCCASIONAL PRODUCTS

Derma E Citrus Radiance Facial Peel

I have been using this facial peel once per week for the past few weeks. It feels like an orange peel facial! My skin always looks so gloomy after and feels more hydrated.

Tula So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Scrub

Pros: I am obsessed with this exfoliator! I use it 3x per week before bed in between steps 2 and 3. It makes my skin sooo smooth and shiny after, and does not dry my skin out at all like other brands of exfoliators have done. the bottle looks small but it has lasted me a lot longer so far than I expected!

Tula Detox in a Jar Exfoliating Mask

Pros: I love this exfoliating face mask! It is like a mud mask and really works. I would describe the texture like a mud mask but more exfoliating! Does not dry out my skin either. Seems pricey, but lasts a long time! I use this about once every week.

Murad Acne Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment

Pros: I use this spot treatment when I get flare-ups and it dries them out literally overnight. SO good to have on-hand! I know Tula makes their own version of this and I plan on trying it after this runs out. I have had this tube for longer than I should reveal but it really does last awhile and still works amazingly.

Cons: they could probably make a smaller version this at a lower cost because I hardly need to use this, but either way it is worth it.

If you have made it this far, thank you! I am absolutely impressed and obsessed by Tula and the majority of the products in my skincare routine. I hope this review is helpful and if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below!
