top clothing & accessories from 2022

1. free people button down blouse

I have been wearing this top so much recently and even bought it in two colors. I love it because it’s cute, comfy, works with a bump, and is nursing friendly.

2. Tory Burch miller sandals

These are such a staple to my wardrobe! I have had one of my pairs for 5 years and they still look great on and have held up so well. I will be wearing mine until they fall apart!

3. lululemon scuba quarter zip

I have this sweatshirt in several colors and am obsessed with it!

4. amazon sweater dress

This sweater dress from Amazon is so comfy and works with a bump because of the stretchy material. It also comes in a bunch of color options.

5. free people bodysuit

Earlier in the year this was my go-to going out top to wear to drinks with friends, happy hour, or dinner with Ryan. It’s actually on sale right now for $40 which is a great deal for Free People. I just have the black but it does come in other colors as well.

6. free people flowy dress

I love this dress so much! I unfortunately never got to wear it last year aside from the photos I took in it since I was pregnant. I look forward to wearing it this year though and it would be perfect for Valentine’s Day! It recently came back in stock with some new color options too.

7. target maternity pants

These maternity pants are SO good – it’s so hard to find comfortable maternity clothes but these pants are the most comfortable pants I have ever put on. I rarely buy clothes from Target but was getting desperate when none of my pants fit and I am glad I discovered these! I have the black and brown colors in the size small.

8. spanx maternity leggings

These are hands down one of my most used clothing items of 2022. I wear Spanx ALL the time when I’m not pregnant, so I knew I had to buy the maternity version when my regular leggings got too small. My only regret is not sizing up! The XS fit at first but now they are super tight. Definitely something to think about especially if you end up swelling.

9. pink longchamp tote

The exact color (light pink bag with a light pink strap) sold out earlier this year so I linked the most similar one I could find. I actually ended up selling my pink bag because I had gotten it dirty, but this color is a bit darker so stains would not show up as much. I also sold mine because I decided I wanted a more neutral color and ended up buying the black, but to be honest I really miss my all pink one and regret selling it. Now this one is on my wishlist!

10. seraphine maternity coat

I have worn this coat every single day since it’s gotten cold out. A good, warm maternity coat was a must have for me living in Maryland and being super pregnant in the winter. It also has a detachable pouch in the front you can keep your baby underneath! I can’t wait to use that feature when I carry her around in a wrap.

11. free people sparkly romper

I ended up buying this romper in two colors because I loved it so much! It is definitely a special occasion outfit. I wore the navy one for a fancy dinner date night and the pink for New Year’s because I was pregnant.

12. summersalt one piece swimsuit

I have loved Summersalt swimsuits for years and have gotten even more into them this past year! They are a bit more modest which is more important now that I will be a mom soon. The quality is outstanding compared to many other brands I have tried. You can use my discount code COLLEENJS10 for a discount at Summersalt!

13. Kendra Scott elisa necklace

This necklace is a staple piece. in my wardrobe. I wear it at least once per week.

14. free people maxi dress

I wore this dress for our pregnancy announcement photos. It’s perfect for a small bump and photographed beautifully! It’s also marked down to $69 from $148.

15. Tory Burch shoulder bag

While I love this bag, I don’t actually use it that often – because of the light color I have to be careful with what I wear with it too. Denim rubs off on it so I mostly would just wear it with dresses and am scared to sit it down. I am not sure I would re purchase it but I’m not ready to sell it either! I think I would get more use out of it if it was smaller since I don’t normally carry a lot with me when I go out.
